Potatoes

Anyone who's ever bought a bag of potatoes and forgotten about them knows that they sprout roots really quickly. Well, we had a bag with six potatoes that sprouted, so my boyfriend and I went out and planted them in the garden. We thought they were dead because they showed no signs of growth for a couple weeks, but recently the leaves popped up through the dirt. It looks like we'll have fresh potatoes after all. :D
